.. they were friendly. the location was good for events. I attended something at a nearby venue. i also liked that the room included everything i needed, and there was a private carpark at the rear.
checking in at the public bar wasn't ideal, especially lugging my luggage through. the bathroom felt a bit dated.. i missed having a heated towel rail.

the staff showed real friendliness, it was heartwarming. our standard twin room seemed bright. bathroom cleaning was adequate i feel. parking access was secure enough.
sound carried easily through the walls, so noises at night sometimes disturbed the peace.

no food service was available at this time, but it did not bother me. various dining establishments exist within a short distance. plenty of option for food.

the bus for travel to town was nearby. this made seeing the area simple. i appreciate free parking, it was secure.
